New Year's Eve

hey everybody.....
today is the last day of the year 2008.....aww
in a few hours time, a countdown to year 2009 is going to take place.....
so what is your New Year wish?.....

My Top 3 wish for next year is _
1.Growing more in Faith, Believe and Trust in God.
2.Family and friends be always happy, joyful, peaceful and healthy.
3.For everyone taking the O levels to have awesome results.

it is going to be the end of the year 2008 soon.....
there are many happenings this year, both good and bad.....
but if i really see into it, there is more good things that happen this year.....

to tell you the truth.....
at the start of the year, i always question myself.....
why am i in secondary 5.....i must take like 1 more year to graduate from school.....
then i wanted to hurry up and end this year as soon as possible
and graduate from this school.....and then most of my friends also graduated.....
i hated myself and my class then.....

then as time goes by, i found out that my class 5 Faith 08 is not bad.....
in fact it is awesome.....made new friends..... and even formed an alliance.....SimPLy
(info: SimPLy is formed by Melvin Sim, Stanley Poh, and me Nicholas Lee.....see why is it called SimPLy?......haha.....it is SimPohLee.....our surname cool right.....) :)
my class is really a wonderful class to work with.....
like everyday we crack lame jokes and laugh together.....
and we have awesome teachers.....like Mr Anba and Mr Sharom and more......
it is totally different from my secondary 4 class.....though it is also fun.....
we can say we faced many difficulties together.....
one thing i will not forget what our class did was to host a 5 Faith Star Award on the 10th of October.....awesome day.....SimPLy even participated in the 5 Faith Superband and got 2nd.....
what a day of joy......then later that evening,
we had our graduation ceremony.....then we headed for Amplify.....haha

one more important thing and it is the most important thing.....if it was not in secondary 5 this year, i will not have known God and got back my Catholic faith that i lost for years.....it was Valerie Faith Lee that brought SimPLy to Amplify In The City.....a praise and worship session in Raffles.....if i did not go to Amplify in the city, i will not have gone to Amplify fridays in Hougang, and if i did not go for Amplify Fridays. i will never had gone to thr 20th YISS Liberation Camp.....
the Camp had changed me because i really felt God presences in a way or another.....now i am new, i receive a new "life"and also a new mission in life, its a new me...i am liberated .....Praise The Lord.....
i still remembered what my friend Benedict's question.....
"you this type of Sunday Catholic, how come you will want to come for Amplify's sessions?"(if i remembered correctly)
then i thought.....ya true, how come a guy like me who only goes for Sunday Masses with little faith and do not know anything at all attend Amplify's session.......
i have came out with only 1 answer......that is..... God's Calling and also his Plan.....
i really have to thank the Lord our God for this awesome year for the many good things that has happened.....though it is ending soon.....

so i look forward for next year 2009 to be an awesome year.....and i pray that i will not forget what happened this year, especially thr YISS camp.....and also keep my Catholic faith going on.....no matter what happens.....i want to be by God's side forever.....let me remember this year......for the reminder of what God has done for me.....and let next year be also a fruitful year for everyone.....Praise The Lord..... :)
